Ms. Mannix along with two members of the Green School committee went to Croke Park on Monday 18th May to collect the Green Flag.

Congratulations to all the committee on their hard work to achieve the Energy Flag.

The school have been awarded another Science Excellence Award.

This is our fourth award, well done to Ms. Mannix and her team of budding scientists on all their hard work.

Our annual Sports Day was held on Thursday 18th June..

Deputy Andrew Doyle was here on Sports Day to raise the Green flag.

The school will close for summer holidays on friday 26th June at 12pm.

Children from 3rd to 6th class went on their school tour on Wednesday 10th June.

They visited Dail Eireann, Trinity, Dublinia, Christchurch and Dublin Castle.


Children from Junior Infants to 2nd went on their school tour on Thursday 28th May.

They went to Grrenane Farm and to Diamond Bowl.

The School is participating in a Comenius Project.

This is a design and technology science based project.

Our School hosted other schools from around Europe this week.

They came to see some Science Activities and to talk to all the classes about their country.

Children from 1st to 6th class took part in the Big Sing on Thursday 27th November. Hopefully we have helped to break the World Record.

Well done to the 13 boys and girls from 2nd class who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday 16th May in Moneystown Church.

Well done to Student of the Year 2009 Gina Crighton.
